Our Story
For more than 30 years, Bella Roma Pizza & Pasta has been proud to serve the Huntington Beach community, becoming a place where families gather, friendships are celebrated, and traditions are shared over great food. Over the decades, many of our guests have become more than customers. They have become part of the Bella Roma family.
In 2026, Bella Roma entered a new chapter when local residents Caesar and Jenna Ruiz took ownership from longtime owner Mario, affectionately known by many local students as "Tony." Recognizing the special place Bella Roma holds in the community, their goal is simple: honor the restaurant's legacy while bringing fresh energy and thoughtful improvements for the future.
Born and raised in Orange County, Caesar graduated from Fountain Valley High School and has deep roots in the community. Caesar and his wife, Jenna, own Tio Flaco’s Tacos nearby, and live in Huntington Beach with their three children. They are committed to preserving the welcoming neighborhood atmosphere that has made Bella Roma a local favorite for generations.
One of the things that makes Bella Roma so special is the dedicated team behind the scenes. When Mario retired, the kitchen staff chose to stay on, continuing to prepare the same recipes that guests have enjoyed for years. Their experience, consistency, and commitment to quality help ensure that the flavors and traditions our customers love remain unchanged. Guests can still enjoy many of the beloved dishes that have made Bella Roma a tradition for so many families, including the Mama Mia, Chicken Parmigiana, Meat Lovers Pizza, and Italian Chopped Salad.
While you will continue to find the classic recipes you know and love, we are also working to enhance the experience with updated dining spaces, attentive service, and new ideas that reflect our family's passion for hospitality. Whether you have been dining with us for decades or are visiting for the first time, we are grateful for the opportunity to serve you. We look forward to welcoming you in, sharing a meal, and continuing the Bella Roma tradition for years to come.
